Green Mountain Naturals Hot Apple Cider

This is a great feature for houses and offices that have people who do not drink coffee.  Also, although I love coffee sometimes I crave other beverages.  This is nice because sometimes I crave a rich hot chocolate, or an iced chai.  They Keurig is perfect for brewing other beverages in addition to your favorite coffee.

In this video I review Green Mountain Naturals Hot Apple Cider.  I am actually not much of a fan of this one.  It tastes a bit too watered down, and has an artificial sweetener taste to it, that I do not enjoy.  However, if you are curious about the video below details my thoughts on it.  If you have tried it, let us know what you think!

Keurig B40 Series

I like this video because before I watched this I had no idea “Keurig” means excellence in Dutch! I truly agree with that, as I absolutely love my Keurig. Keurig started in 1998 and their motto is to produce an excellent cup of coffee in less than one minute.

In this video they also touch on the selection of K-cups for your Keurig!  I love the fact you can make not only coffee, but also hot chocolate, chai tea, herbal tea or even cocoa.  Also, if there is a coffee that does not come in the K-cup you can buy an adapter to put your own coffee in a K-cup sized receptacle.  They have truly thought of fulfilling all your coffee needs and wants!

If you’re wondering if I work for Keurig or have some investment in their company, I don’t.  I just have to say it has been the very best purchase I have made in a long time.  This video explains how the Keurig B40 series works.  Enjoy and let’s drink some coffee!

Keurig Mini B30 Model

In following with the last post, here is a video on Keurig Mini B30 review.  Personally, I have the Keurig Mini B31 – which I LOVE!  I seriously cannot think of a better purchase I have made in a very long time!  It works perfectly everyday to make coffee, tea, chai tea, apple cider and cocoa!  I absolutely adore it, and my husband who does not enjoy coffee loves to make iced chai tea.

This video is a review of the Mini B30, which I believe is a very popular model offered by Keurig.  As it looks quite similar to my model, the B31, I am confident it will be a lovely addition to your coffee making kitchen!

Keurig B70

I love my one cup coffee maker, my trusty Keurig!  Before I purchased one, I wasn’t really sure how it worked or what it was all about.  I was hoping it wasn’t complicated or a big process.  Luckily, I found it was so simple… and most importantly so delicious!

While looking on Youtube today, I found this great video on how it works.  It truly is as simple as pressing a button, and with the press of that button you have coffee that is at the perfect temperature!

Obsidian Coffee is Heavenly!

Last month my husband picked up a box of K-cup coffee for me at Target, for use in my Keurig. What he picked up is called Obsidian by Caribou coffee.  It was a coffee that I wouldn’t have picked up or checked out, but I’m so glad he did!

It is described as “Dark to the core. Smooth to the finish”.  That pretty much sums out how wonderful this coffee is!

This coffee is blend of wonderful flavors and beans.  Guatemala delivers soft floral aromatics, Kenya and Ethiopia offer their pungent acidity and winey body, while New Guinea provides pleasant herbal sweetness. All these flavors blend together for heavenly cup of coffee!

These attributes are roasted to enhance the body of the cup while leaving out any trace of smokiness. A perfect choice for a French Press, or a Keurig, experience what the volcanic highlands around the world yield in the world of coffee.

The delicate flavors, floral nuances and fruit sweetness can be obscured in many dark roasts. However, this is not the case with Obsidian. This pure, unspoiled coffee is smooth to the finish, and heavy with flavors of juicy, luscious wild berries. It finishes with a decadent, bittersweet chocolate flourish.

Chocolate and berries go hand in hand on a joyful skip, hop and jump for the taste buds!  Ok, that may have been a bit much, but I truly love this coffee!

So I’m new to Keurig but I have to say I’m already coming across some favorite flavors for my one cup brewing system.

Donut Shop Coffee

One of my first favorites is Donut Shop Extra Bold!  This one is a dark and bold coffee choice.  Perfect for the mornings when I need a good pick me up.

Caramel Vanilla Cream Coffee

I’m also enjoying Caramel Vanilla Cream Coffee from Green Mountain Coffee.  It’s a nice and sweet, buttery coffee.  It reminds me of coffee that has been drizzled with brown sugar and sweet vanilla cream.  Not too strong, just right.

Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Coffee

I also tried Van Houtte Raspberry Chocolate Truffle the other morning and was in a chocolate, raspberry heaven!  The rich chocolate and the juicy raspberry were the perfect compliment to the coffee.  Decadent and delicious!

Family Fun Sampler

Something I have not tried but think I shall buy very soon is the Family Fun Sampler!  This contains: Green Mountain Naturals Hot Apple Cider, Cafe Escapes Milk Hot Chocolate, Cafe Escapes Dark Hot Chocolate and Cafe Escapes Chai Latte.  This is perfect for the whole family and I love the fact that my Keurig makes more than just coffee!

Tassimo

Recently while shopping at Bed, Bath & Beyond my husband noticed Tassimo Coffee Makers.  Tassimo, like Keurigs, are a one cup coffee maker system.  They offer brewers ranging in price from $99 to $169.  They also offer many different kinds of coffee such as: Maxwell House, Gevalia, Carte Noire and Jacobs.  Tassimo can also brew tea, lattes, cappucino, cremas and hot chocolate.

Keurig One Cup Coffee Makers

So last week I blogged about my anticipation over receiving my Kuerig One Cup Coffee Maker.  I mentioned how I love to drink coffee, but my husband does not.  So, for me, owning a one cup coffee maker seemed like the only logical and efficient way to go!  Here is my experience on owning a Keurig so far!

I eagerly waited the arrival of my Keurig and on Thursday afternoon it arrived.  I ripped open the box and found my shiny, red coffee maker waiting to be plugged in!  I had to try it out immediately even though I never drink coffee in the afternoon.  I decided to try my first cup using the handy-dandy Keurig.  My first flavor of choice?  Caramel apple coffee which was a gift from my sweet husband in addition to the maker and complimentary 12 pack of coffees.  By the way, my husband annoyingly pronounces caramel as “Car-A-Mel whereas I prefer “Car-Mel”.  Anyways, I digress as I do not want to get started on the great Car-A-Mel/Car-Mel debate.  How was the first cup of coffee? It was delicious!  I added a bit too much water and it didn’t have an overly strong coffee taste but I enjoyed it!

I’m also enjoying the other, more robust and bold flavors from Keurig!  I’m excited to start experimenting with other options like tea, Chai, and hot chocolate.  So far I can report I LOVE my Keurig and have been drinking coffee throughout the day on occasion.  It does away with the tiresome process of filling the pot with water, grinding the beans, grabbing a filter, and so on and so on.  Now, it is just pop in the coffee of my choice, add the water and press a button.

So far it is has been a money-saving and delicious investment.  I’m definitely enjoying my new Keurig!

Keurig

I love to drink coffee; however, my husband does not.  Unfortunately, that leads to a lot of wasted cups of Joe as I usually can’t drink more than one or two cups.

A couple years ago for Christmas my Mother in Law gave me the most wonderful coffee and espresso maker as a gift.  I’m sure it was expensive as it is quite fancy but also quite complicated. I never could get the hang of making the espresso, and the pot on the coffee maker is way too big for one gal! Sadly, this leads to me drinking a lot of Starbucks instead, which gets expensive.

After thinking about it I decided to ask my husband for a Keurig as my Anniversary gift this year, which happens to be right around the corner.  This week he ordered an adorable red Keurig one cup coffee maker for $99 from the Keurig site online.  Shipping is free and it comes with a free 12 pack of coffee!  I’m anxious to get this in the mail and will report back as soon as it comes.
